![]() ![]() ![]() The demon lord Nergal has been jerking Constantine around like a rebellious puppet for months, manipulating him into several disastrous courses of action, but now Constantine has managed to bloody his nose a bit. Most of Constantine’s brokenness stretches back to one disastrous night in Newcastle that is often referenced but has never been explicitly described…until now. Last volume I mentioned that there was no resolution to the overarching plot of the previous volume, and as expected that plotline finds its resolution here. ![]() I’m still not overly impressed, but I’m not giving up on the series yet either. I wasn’t too overly impressed with the first volume for a number of reasons, but figured I’d give it another chance-if only to watch certain plot threads finish unraveling.
